Our client, a top government entity in Abu Dhabi is currently looking for a Human Resources Director to join their dynamic team. The Director will be responsible for developing reviewing and implementing the Human Resources Management strategic programs, operational plans, policies and procedures and various strategic initiatives. Additionally, they will need to introduce a high performance and employee wellbeing culture within the organisation.
Please note that this is an Emiratisation role and only UAE Nationals with a Family Book will be considered.
The role:
– Prepare the department’s strategy and objectives in collaboration with all relevant stakeholders
– Propose KPI’s for the department and its employees, in alignment with the organisation’s strategic goals
– Oversee the performance of the department by providing strategic direction and guidance in achieving objectives
– Facilitate and manage the process of knowledge sharing to promote a culture of innovation, creativity, excellence in performance and growth
– Oversee the development of the department’s policies and procedures in line with the Quality & Excellence standards
– Drive the change management activities, including all stakeholder communications as per the approved communication plan
– Establish the performance management framework and ensure execution of PPM cycle
– Develop the compensation and benefits and reward philosophy and strategy
– Manage the Human Relations initiatives such as leadership development, succession planning, career development etc.
– Plan, manage and monitor Emiratization programs and initiatives across the organisation
Responsibilities:
– UAE National with a Family Book
– University Degree in a relevant field or equivalent, preferably holds a Master’s degree
– At least 12+ years experience in Human Resources
– Must be very agile, able to deal with a dynamic environment
– Must be able to give presentations to senior leadership (Chair) at short notice
– Excellent communication skills in English and Arabic
