Senior Project Manager

Responsibilities

  • Direct and coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects
  • Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
  • Ensure resource availability and allocation
  • Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress
  • Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule and project costs using appropriate verification techniques

Requirements :

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in the events industry in a similar role
  • Experience in project management and being the lead of large-scale events, including budget forecasting and ability to meet tight deadlines
  • Relevant related educational background
  • Have a strong understanding of the marketplace
  • Enhanced problem-solving and communication skills in dealing with clients and colleagues
  • Be able to adapt to client’s personalities and behaviours
  • Extensive experience in the management of a team to achieve established objectives by effectively motivating and providing a transparent and open environment for constructive feedback
  • Leading by example and being a role model for colleagues
  • Be effective in delegating the necessary tasks and responsibilities to colleagues and establish an effective and efficient workflow

Tax Manager

Our client works in the logistics industry based in the UAE.  We are looking for a Tax Manager for an International company.

 Responsibilities :

  • Lead the entire tax function and be solely responsible for all tax related matters.
  • Comply with the VAT reporting requirements under the UAE VAT law and for Saudi subsidiaries under the Saudi VAT law.
  • Independently manage all day-to-day VAT affairs for the company and address any tax queries from Tax authorities
  • Coordinate and work closely with consultants, other departments business units, and auditors to ensure tax compliances.
  • Prepare and file monthly VAT returns; lead, plan, implement, file and comply with the UAE corporate tax returns and also manage the corporate tax planning and filing for the business entities in UAE, Saudi, USA and other applicable jurisdictions.
  • Support the business on matters relating to Transfer Pricing and Withholding taxes.
  • Draft Tax policies, standards, manuals and guidelines as necessary, and also ensure all stakeholders are provided guidance and training for effective tax compliance.

Requirements :

  • A qualified accountant or a tax practitioner with a minimum 8 years’ experience in planning and implementation of tax policies and strategies, relating to direct and indirect taxes, VAT, corporate taxes and transfer pricing.
  • Strong working knowledge of using ERP applications
  • Previous exposure to US, UAE & KSA tax.
  • Please note this is a hands on role, you will be the sole person managing all tax affairs for the business

Inspire Selection is searching for an experienced, highly technical  Regional Financial Controller for a plc in Dubai.

Reporting to the CFO, this position oversees the accounting team, which is undertaking the day-to-day financial accounting activities, consolidation process and preparation of reports and analysis for the whole region. Manages and controls compliance of all accounting policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Management of accounting procedures in place and proper implementation across the Group ensuring compliance with IFRS
  • Prepare MIS reports
  • Control and monitoring of disbursements
  • Review of all PO, disbursement, fund transfers and day to day functioning of UAE finance in conjunction with the Group Treasury Manager
  • Manage the internal company monthly review process in conjunction with the Group Reporting Manager
  • Assists in dealing with banks for new / increased facilities and periodic review compliance
  • Management of the corporate insurance
  • Monthly detailed payroll review
  • Handling key suppliers’ payment issues
  • Primary contact with external Auditors & Tax Advisers
