Job Purpose
Do you want to be part of one of the world’s leading air and travel services providers based in one of the world’s most exciting and vibrant cities? We have an exciting opportunity for talented UAE national graduates to join us in Dubai and internationally as part of the dnata Safety Graduate Programme. The objective of this programme is to develop the skills of talented UAE national graduates and provide them with a strong foundation to pursue a career in aviation safety. Once you graduate from this programme, you will be a qualified professional, gaining both technical and soft skills to allow you to grow within the profession or move into a leadership role within the business. The duration of the programme is 24 months and is divided into two main phases: Phase 1: 12 months
– This phase will be an introduction to dnata Safety’s different teams and key stakeholders. You will work towards the completion of SMS (IATA), a basic Nebosh Qualification and Safety Investigation Course in addition to relevant courses. Phase 2
– 12 months – This phase will focus on your specialization. You will be placed in one of the areas within dnata Safety Department. You will work towards the completion of the mandatory courses related to the assigned role. Since this is a graduate trainee programme, no formal work experience will be required since experience will be gained through a 2 phased intensive on the job training programme.

Senior Software Engineer
Job Purpose
The Senior Software Engineer is a fully participating member of an agile feature team working independently on software development and problem resolution. The role involves technical design, software development, implementation and maintenance software solutions/products that support the Emirates Group Business.
Job Outline:
– Work with senior technical engineers in the technical design process by contributing in the analysis of technical application requirements
– Convert technical solutions for small to medium sized initiatives into low level design and working code.
– Independently write secure and optimized code through implementation of Emirates Group approved coding standards
– Be part of the rotational on-call support and actively participate in resolving production issues within SLA?s with minimal or no active supervision.
– Accountable for built in quality and ensuring 100% unit testing as part of the CI/CD pipeline.
– Analyse and fix all identified defects with minimal rework
– Ensure re-factoring practices are adequately adopted to ensure minimum code debt.
– Ensure logging and monitoring hooks are implemented as part of the code development.
– Continuously stay up to date in the relevant technologies and implement the learnings to enhance the code quality.
– Adhere to the Emirates Group IT coding standards, guidelines and best practices and contribute to Software Engineering Playbooks and other Standards documents.
Qualifications & Experience
Qualifications:
– Degree or Honours (12+3 or equivalent) in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Computational Mathematics, Computer Engineering or Software Engineering.
– Certification in SalesForce/Maximo/Full Stack Developer/UI Experts/ERP/MainFrame preferred.
Experience:
– 3-5 years of Software Engineering experience preferably in agile ways of working
– Experience with a range of technologies: .NET/ASP.NET, AngularJS/ReactJS, Cloud ((AWS/Azure/GoogleCloud etc.)
Knowledge/skills:
– Developing software in an enterprise environment.
– Testing concepts such as unit testing, functional testing and test automation.
– Resolving a variety of issues using technical expertise.
– System design tools as well as experience using technologies such as .NET, Angular JS, React JS
– Designing simple applications/modules.
– Strong agile Software Development Skills
– Strong Systems Analytical skills
– Experience in working with a range of technologies: .NET/ASP.NET, AngularJS/ReactJS, Cloud ((AWS/Azure/GoogleCloud etc.)

Team Leader -Airside Transport
Job Purpose
JOB PURPOSE
The position will serve as a focal point of contact within shift to ensure all administrative compliance, DA regulations are in place for bussing. Supports operations to allocate crew buses, record trips, broadcast and provide regular operations and safety briefings/updates, create an incident report in dnata safety Hub and follow-up escalation of bussing issues to DWC SDM/DXB DO remotely. Handles all bussing assets and liaises with dnata Tech to ensure all buses and equipment remain operational JOB
ACCOUNTABILITIES LINKED TO OBJECTIVE AREAS
– Plans the distribution and allocation of resources in area of allocation to ensure the assigned activities are completed on time and in line with the SOPs
– Ensures safety of staff and guides them to work safely by providing support, direction, whilst being a role model for the desired safety behaviours and leading with safety
– Organizes and supervises the work of a small team on the day of operations to ensure that work is completed efficiently and in compliance with procedures and service standards
– Leads team of staff on the day of operations, who are undertaking related activities to handle in-coming and outgoing flights as allocated
– Assists Supervisors to handle shift briefing of the team, at the start of shift, for the responsibilities on the day of operations that staff are aware of what is expected of them in line with the SLAs
– Provides performance feedback from the day of operations, of staff on shift to their respective line managers
– Ensures that all equipment and devices allocated to the team are used and cared for appropriately
– Intervenes and takes immediate action when there is risk exposure, role models safe behaviours and follows up on corrective actions – Conducts safety briefings regularly at the beginning of the shift to ensure that all safety standards are adhered to
– Complies with all relevant safety, quality and environmental management policies, procedures and controls to ensure a healthy and safe work environment
– Ensures implementation of work instructions on the day of operations and compliance to established standard operating procedures
Specific Accountabilities
Baggage
– Ensures smooth and efficient Baggage reconciliation, build up and on time delivery at both Departure and Arrival
– Manages and monitors the allocated resources both staff/equipment and the safe arrival and on-time departure activities
– Plans staff allocation and assist Supervisor in preparing shift reports, updates all flights allocation
– Briefs team members, delegates? tasks and oversees activities on special carriers handling instructions while assisting Supervisors to promote best and safe practices at work
– Monitors BELT system and follow up missing bags
– Coordinates with Service Delivery Supervisor and report any baggage handling system issues or delay of any baggage discharge to make-up area

HSE Reporting Specialist
Job Purpose
To support in providing technical expertise and direction to dnata businesses on all matters related to Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) reporting and recording protocols. To design and produce accurate and intuitive HSE performance, dashboards and data trend.
Responsibilities Execute:
– Be the subject matter expert in all elements of data collection, analysis and presentation
– Demonstrate innovation with regards to Microsoft PBI and other data tools, to ensure up to date methods are being utilised Develop strong working relationship with all business units and key stakeholders to ensure full understanding of challenges regards HSE
– Utilise the services and skills that seats within enterprise analytics with a view of sharing best practices, in order to ensure consistent data utilisation across multiple locations and business
– Manage the process to determine a HSE reporting framework and associated procedure and continually review the local implementation of the procedure in line with the framework (LEAD)
– Innovate effective data solutions with dnata’s external software providers and demonstrate continues improvement
Qualifications & Experience
– Graduated in Safety or related field – 5-8 years’ experience in Safety related field
Knowledge/Skills:
– Skilled in the use of analytical techniques, and is able to use judgement to decide upon the most appropriate analytical techniques according to the situation
– Recognises underlying principles, patterns, or themes in an array of related information
– Reviews outputs of analyses to draws conclusions and identify anomalies – Strong knowledge in statistical theories and methods
– Proficient knowledge with safety related requirements in interpreting OHS regulations, and safety codes.
