Housekeeper – Housekeeping Department:
Ensures that the assigned area of responsibility is cleaned according to hospital policies and procedures. Ensures that the assigned tasks are completed within the duty period and possesses the skills required to operate equipment and requires flexibility in order to respond to a change of area/task or in an emergency case. Diabetic Educator
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develops and implements competencies relating to care of Diabetic patients.
- Supports direct care to Diabetic patients and their families, and serves as a clinical resource.
- Advises patients and their families regarding Insulin and Medication adjustments, within specific limits and after discussion with the patient and relevant physicians.
- Promotes evidence-based practice in order to improve the quality of care provided to Diabetic patients based on age appropriateness and developmental needs of patients and their families.
- Develops and coordinates quality improvement programs and facilitates in the implementation and auditing of clinical standards related to Diabetic management.
- Participates in maintaining JCIA standards for the education of Diabetic patient.
- Maintains annual education requirements and participates in ongoing education activities.
Qualifications & Professional Experience:
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing in country of origin and/or country of professional practice.
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) Licensure in country of citizenship or professional practice.
- Diploma in Diabetic Patient Care.
- Excellent English verbal and written communication skills.
- Computer literate.
- Health promotion experienced preferred.

Senior Mechanical Tradesman
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Continually identified material needs for ordering in advance of requirements
- Demonstrates ability to identify and correct deficiencies
- Demonstrates ability to requisition all spares, tools, equipment and materials in advance for efficient operations of the assignment
- Continuously monitors his assignment area and recommends improvements and efficiency benefits
- Effectively performs diagnostic duties for fault finding and trains subordinate staff in this activity
- Displays comprehensive understanding of codes of practice and standards compliance for his assignment area
- Demonstrates a thorough knowledge of safety, policies and procedures and applies meticulously to his assignment
- Shows an active awareness of continuing Quality Improvement
- Participates actively in meeting the Facilities Management Department objectives
- Ensures that incident reports are completed and communicated to the QI Department
- Participate in QI activities
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:
- Diploma in Trade Certificate
- Knowledge of JCIA standards
- Must have the ability to read and write English
- Able to communicate in English with colleagues and hospital customers
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience in a Healthcare Organization’s maintenance department or similar institution
- At least 3 years’ experience in handling air and water cooled chillers and BMS
- Basic understanding of personal computers, computer literacy preferred
